The University offers a wide range of local scholarship to students but there are no scholarships currently available for international students. Details of local scholarship are EIT Youth Scholarship, Disability Scholarship, Rural studies scholarship, Nursing and sport science scholarship. The university does not have any application fees for the students.In 2014,more than 10,000 students studied at EIT, including 440 international students from 40 different countries.


If a student who  completed qualification in EIT  New Zealand, but  do not have a job offer, you are still  eligible for a Graduate Job Search Work Visa for a maximum of 12 months. EIT will be there to help you to find employment during the time of studies, so it should not be a major problem.  Then, after finding a job, you can apply for a further visa for up to two or three years under the Study to Work category.

As a full-time student, one can work up to 20 hours per week. Those students who are eligible to work while studying may get causal jobs in areas like hospitality or other service industries. Universities of New Zealand Ranked among the Top Universities

The universities of New Zealand has been ranked among the top universities of QS world  university Ranking 2014/15. New Zealand has 8 universities and all or them  made it to the top rankings is a great achievement in itself. These universities  are under the wings of the New Zealand's higher education system which  regulates them.It includes 20 institutes of technology and polytechnics offering the vocational courses of varying lengths and levels.
