The Scholarship Fee reductions offered also respond to areas where government wants to see an increase in participation rates for high demand areas such as ICT. The Women in Trades, and Women in Engineering Scholarship Fee Reductions are a response to the Ministry of Women's Affairs & Immigration NZ initiatives which identified women as being under-represented in Trades and Engineering.
The Internships are to enable students to experience 'hands on' the complexities of a real world events organization. Students will learn how to effectively contribute to the operational functions and routine events of an Internship Provider. They are to carryout critical analysis of projects and development of new ideas and concepts in the work environment.
