Wintec offers students around the world the opportunity to study in clean, modern, purpose built classrooms that offer the very best in education and learning. It has three campuses in Hamilton as well as Thames, Te Kuiti and at the Otorohanga Trade Training Centre.

Wintec has internationally recognized programs from Certificates to Diplomas to Bachelor, Postgraduate and Masters. Learning is not just about theory – it’s practical and relevant to today’s global marketplace. You can study Business Management, Information and Communications Technology, Visual Arts, Design, Communications, Music and more.
Scholarships are eligible for students who have achieved a grade average of A- or above in the last year of either a Postgraduate Diploma or an Honors degree from Wintec. Or have applied to enroll in their first year of Masters Study at Wintec and are meeting all the entry requirements for one of the following Wintec programs: Master of Arts, Master of Nursing, Master of Science (Sport and Exercise Science) and the maximum would be NZD 2,000.00.

Wintec’s International Student Liaison office allows those with a student visa the opportunity to work a certain amount of hours per week while studying (usually a maximum of 20 hours) and full-time during holiday periods. This is determined by the duration of the course and other factors. Employment assistance will be provided according to eligibility and government immigration rules.
